(Glenn) This morning we left San Luis Obisbo but not before visiting their famous "Bubblegum Alley". There is a long alleyway that has attracted the chewing gum of thousands of guests. Today Cathy and I contributed to their collection. It was an interesting place but I am glad there is not one in our town. We had a longer ride on the bike today as we traveled to Anaheim, California. It required us passing through Los Angeles and I hoped a Sunday may have spared me some of the traffic but is was still so crowded. After checking into our hotel we ate a late lunch at Tony Roma's (excellent ribs). Our hotel is directly across the street from Disneyland and California Adventures entrance areas (5 minute walk from the room). Today we spent our time at Downtown Disney and then watched the fireworks. Tomorrow morning will be spent at Disneyland. Cathy doesn't like faster rides so I may have to ride a few without her. I can already tell that these California Disney parks are much smaller and do not compare to those in Florida but will still be a fun experience.
(Cathy) my blog ended abruptly last night. I left my typing for who knows what and then I forgot about it. The fireman I met is head of an all female prison unit. He said those ladies sure could work on a fire. Not impressed with Disneyland yet but we'll see. We also went to the movie this afternoon, saw Mission Impossible Rogue Nation. Very good. We don't waste much time on a trip. Lucky near Los Angeles. Lots of traffic. But we saw this CHP back behind us with his flashing lights going and he was swerving all over our 5 lanes . He just cut off all the traffic behind us. Whew! If we had not gotten by we would have been stuck for who knows how long. Don't know why but Glenn said they probably heard a southern boy on a motorcycle from Alabama was on the loose....
