(Glenn) Today we rode our bikes to Pensacola, Florida. Jim is staying with us until we ride home tomorrow. We went to Joe Patti's Seafood and enjoyed the interesting market place. They have an excellent restaurant with very fresh seafood and low prices ( sounds like a good combination to me). After lunch we hit the beach again and Cathy was determined to find some nice shells. She started digging with a plastic toy take she found on the beach and later used a small shovel I found near the pool. She had a fairly deep hole but was not finding many shells. She did find a way to blame me- she said the area I suggested she dig was a "dud". Next trip I will bring a tractor with a backhoe and see what she can find. Tomorrow we head back home and I plan to be busy for a good while catching up on bills and other mail. We are still reminiscing about our trip and it almost seems like a dream.
(Cathy) Yes, my spot was a dud. I got a few pretty shells for my collection. Good lunch, good time playing in the sand. It's all over but the crying, or it's not over till the fat lady sings...
