(Glenn) Today we visited Healdsburg which is a little north of Sonoma. Too many wineries to consider but we visited Dry River Vineyard which was recommended by a local in Sonoma. It had a great small town feel with a lot of small shops around the town square. Lunch was at Willies Seafood and Raw Bar which was a tapas seafood restaurant. On the way to Healdsburg we stopped by Ledson Vineyards mainly to see their tasting room- unbelievable. Today's photo was of Cathy just before we entered the "mansion". Another tasting at Envolve Vineyards downtown and now some time in the hotel hot tub before bedtime. Tomorrow we have to say goodbye to wine country as we head toward Yosemite Natonal Park.
(Cathy) had a great day. We have learned a lot about wines. We didn't get to visit Blackstone Winery, thousands of great winery's here, so can't imagine why not. We buy some stuff from WalMart. Checkout clerk at Walmart says " you want to buy a bag?". I'm thinking "one of those green plastic checkout bags"..NO. Glenn puts his stuff in a plastic bag and walks off. I start to do the same and she says again you want to buy that bag? You have to buy these? "Yes". No I don't want to buy a bag and I walked out with my stuff in my arms. I would never make it here in California .lol
